Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Hello! My name is Dan and I am from Romania and this is my third semester at HTMi. I started my studies in August 2012 at HTMi doing Certificate in Hotel and Management followed by a six months internship as kitchen trainee at Hotel des Trois Courrones in Vevey, Switzerland. This was a great experience for me, in a Michelin star restaurant, an experience that changed and taught me a lot.
Then, I continued my studies with Diploma in International Hotel and Tourism Management in the Fall Semester 2013. This time, I was searching for an international internship and thanks to HTMi, I end up being chosen as a F&B trainee at The Ritz-Carlton, Abama, in Tenerife, Spain. It was definitely a huge step forward for my personal and professional development and I worked in the best restaurant from there, called “M.B”, a two Michelin starred one. Here, I took part in some cross trainings in other departments, and due to my performance, I was given the “5 Star Trainee” award, one of the best moments of my life. All in all, it was just a perfect internship for me. And now, I am more than happy to be back at HTMi, for the Diploma in Training for Trainers in Hotel Management.
This give me the reason why I am very grateful and I still believe that HTMi was the best decision of my life. Here it is the place that taught me everything I know and changed my life. I really consider that the endless opportunities and the great study environment make HTMi a top hotel management university in the world and from here I am looking very confidently to my future career.
