HTMi was once again contacted by one of our valuable partner hotels, Intercontinental Davos, to send a group of students to assist this year’s World Economic Forum.

With the mission to improve the state of the world, The World Economic Forum takes place annually at Davos. This year from 22nd to 25th January, Intercontinental Davos had the honour to host many high-profile guests including politicians, entrepreneurs, CEOs and influencers of different sectors from all over the world.

On 23rd of January 2019, fourteen students travelled from Soerenberg to Davos in order to support this event. The students had the chance to welcome and serve many VIP guests from all over the world together with the service team from Intercontinental Davos. It was a wonderful experience for the students to be able to work with industry professionals. They have gained valuable knowledge on how to plan, organise and execute a successful event on a high level of guest service.

HTMi is immensely proud of our students for showing an outstanding level of dedication and professionalism during this event. The HTMi Career Centre would like to thank to Ms. Yasmin Vural, Human Resources Manager and the rest of the team for welcoming our students and giving them the opportunity to face the ‘real life’ experience and we are already looking forward to next year’s WEF.
