Greetings from Quito-Ecuador.
I am Carolina Carrasco, ex student from HTMi, where I studied my Postgraduate Diploma in Events Management in 2012.
To have done my studies in Switzerland, definitely changed my life. I have never imagined the big change that I got in my professional career after taken the decision of study my postgraduate in HTMi.
During my time in HTMi, the school gave me the big chance to be interviewed by some of the biggest hotel brands around the world. My decision was to work for one of the most luxurious hotels in the United Arab Emirates, JW Marriott Dubai.
In my time in Dubai, I had many experiences that changed my professional development. I had the opportunity to have been part of big international events, such as Jennifer Lopez “Dance Again World Tour” Concert, Rugby World Championship, Katty Perry and Usher Concert; I was also delighted to serve VIP clients at the Dhow Cruises and in some Desert Safaris. All of these just amazed me!
I will always be thankful to HTMi for making my dream came true by working in one of the most important cities for hospitality in the world, Dubai. HTMI gave me all the tools to be competitive in the world of hospitality; order, punctuality, appropriate use of technology and proper management of quality standards, made me the successful professional I am today.
Currently, my role has been highlighted as Wedding Planner in my city, creating weddings and spectacular moments in the memory of my clients.
Moreover, nowadays, thanks to the confidence that HTMi put on me, I took the great responsibility to represent my beloved school for Latin America, positioning me as HTMI Marketing Manager Latin America. A position that challenges me to reach the objectives with professionalism and perfection.
