Congratulations to leadership of the Events Centre , the Higher Diploma and Postgraduate Event Management students for organising the 22nd International Gala Event “A Sensation of Cultures”, held on Friday, 5th May 2017. Congratulations to the whole school for helping make this event a great success. The high standards of hospitality of the HTMi student body, was well appreciated by the guests of the event, who were delighted with numerous performances, which took the guests on a trip around the world, to see famous traditional performances, accompanied by first-class service.
The Event theme was a “Sensation of Cultures” and the HTMi students accomplished this with a gourmet five-course menu where guests were delighted with a variety of food, under the keen supervision of HTMi’s Culinary Centre. As part of the theme, the students managed to create an outstanding ambience, design and décor. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed into the lobby to check-in for their first-class journey around the world, accompanied with an apero. Thereafter the guests were escorted into the Restaurant and greeted by HTMi Airlines` flight attendees, as the HTMi Airways was about to depart as they were led into an elegant, colourful and multicultural atmosphere.
In the Grand Finale, the Higher Diplomas with other students ended the evening with lots of excitement by performing Chris Brown and Pitbulls` International love, which was an exciting end to a truly amazing event.
HTMi is proud to support for the “Rainforest Alliance”, as this organization is globally recognized for its initiative. During the semester the Higher Diploma students from the Marketing & Sponsorship Department were instrumental in raising funds through various charity initiatives that were warmly embraced by the student body.
HTMi was honoured to host the representatives from the Embassies of Hungary, Georgia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Greece. We would also like to thank the strong support of the HTMi International Diplomatic Relations Dept, especially to the hard work of Mr Vinoth Prakas, Ms Aishah Siti, and Mr Laszlo Nagy.
