Out of all the existing Hospitality schools in Switzerland, the popular Swiss watch brand Breitling, once again picked HTMi as the main school to assist at Basel World 2016, the world’s biggest watch and jewellery show.

Breitling organised an amazing event where invited VIPs, agents and wholesalers were welcomed every night to a “It‘s all about F“ themed atmosphere, which was created throughout six floors each representing Fire, Football, Frivolity, Flower, Fight and the Club. Each evening 600 guests were welcomed to dazzling shows, where the food & beverage menu and even the outfits of all staff reflected the chosen themes of each floor.

Our students faced a challenging experience, working closely together with industry experts and Michelin-Star and Gault Millau chefs. HTMi congratulates its four ambassadors Petra Polgar and Zsofia Jarosi from Hungary worked in service and Andrea Morales from Ecuador and Kim Le from Vietnam worked in the culinary department, and left executives extremely pleased and satisfied by our students’ professional behaviour, attitude and work ethics.

For the third year running another HTMi student, Stefania Diaconu from Romania, was selected to work in the VIP service and beverage area for Jacob & Co. during the Basel World 2016 exhibition. Last year HTMi graduate Arseny Beloborodov from Russia was selected to act as the personal assistant and butler to Mr. Jacob Arabo, owner of Jacob & Co. during the show. Arseny was flown out from Russia to once again act as Mr. Arabo’s assistant, showcasing the extremely high standards of HTMi students and graduates.

We thank all our HTMi students for their outstanding professionalism in upholding the HTMi standards of excellence and due to their hard work have been invited back again to the Breitling ID Club Event and Jacob & Co. in 2017.
