Hello everybody!
My name is Matej Matejka and I am from Slovakia. I have finished my certificate course and decided to do my first internship in Zurich in Savoy Baur en Ville hotel. It was a great experience to work in Room Service department. After I have finished this internship and I didn’t go back to school but straight away for new internship.
I have decided to go to London. London is amazing city which never sleeps and people enjoy their life here. I am very lucky that I could get the internship, which I got. I work as a House Porter in Housekeeping department in Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane. The hotel is amazing. I have never experience such a great working environment with amazing people to work. Four Seasons belongs to 100 Best companies to work for according to the Forbes ranking and it is really true.
I am really glad to be here. My main responsibilities are distributing the things to the housekeeping offices, delivering the requested items for the guests, as well as helping to clean the rooms. I am astonished with the experiences that I can get here. The management staff is very encouraging and helpful. I am happy that I have chosen this internship and I would recommend this company to everybody, because it is indeed one of the best companies to work for.
