Hi Everyone,
My name is Zoltan Zahorszki and I come from Hungary. I started my studies at HTMi in 2007 and graduated with BSc (Hons) in 2011. Through the years and internships, I had the chance to work in great hotels in Switzerland from 3 stars to 5 stars properties.
Thanks to HTMi, I could have 2 wonderful experiences, which I will never forget. These helped me a lot in my professional career and in how I see the hospitality industry now. First of all, as a reward from the school I could fly to Dubai to a Career Trip with some other awards winning students. We visited breathtaking hotels and we had a fantastic time together. Second of all, as one of the volunteers chosen by HTMi, I could work in South Africa, Johannesburg for two months during the 2010 FIFA Football World Cup in a 5 star luxury resort.
After graduating in 2011, I began working for Marriott Internationals and spent 3.5 great years at the Renaissance Zurich Hotel. I started as a Purchasing and F&B Trainee and after a year of internship, I got offered my first full time job at the Front Desk as Night Auditor. The years of dedication paid of when I was promoted to Night Audit Supervisor with MOD responsibilities.
After spending 2.5 years working at night, I decided to look for some new challenges. Right now, I am at the Sheraton Zurich Hotel working as Guest Service Agent. The hotel is one of the newest and most modern properties in Zurich.
I am really grateful to HTMi. I will never forget the time, which I spent there and how much it thought me. Without it, I would not be who I am and where I am now.
